About Our Delivery and Shipping Services Policy

We provide shipping within India and to multiple locations outside India. We have tie-ups with leading logistics providers to handle your order in the best possible way and to ensure safe and fast delivery to you.

In case you are not reachable or you do not accept the delivery of the products when attempted by us, we reserve the right to cancel your order at our sole discretion. Any amount refunded subsequent to such cancellation shall only be processed post deduction of the shipping and delivery charges borne by us.

You acknowledge and accept that the title and risk of all products ordered by you and delivered to you shall pass on to you upon your receipt of the delivery.

Summary of Shipping Charges

Please see below a list of the shipping charges that may be levied on your order based on the delivery location and preferred mode of payment:

Shipping Charges for Delivery Within India We provide free shipping within India for all prepaid orders above ₹999. For orders (both prepaid and otherwise) with a total amount less than ₹999, we charge a nominal fee of ₹100 towards shipping and handling charges. The option to pay for your order at the time of delivery (“Cash on Delivery”) is available only in selected pin codes within India and is subject to an order value cap of ₹20,000. Please note that an additional charge of ₹100 is levied for Cash on Delivery payment orders.

Shipping Charges for Delivery Outside India We provide free shipping to international locations for all prepaid orders above USD 180. For orders with a total amount less than USD 180, we charge a nominal fee of ₹1500 (approximately USD 18) towards shipping and handling charges. Please note that the Cash on Delivery option is not available for orders being shipped to international locations outside India.

Our Dispatch Policy:

We understand you are eagerly waiting for your ordered styles to be delivered to you at the earliest. Our standard dispatch timelines range from 1 to 4 weeks from the date of successful placement of your order. This timeline takes into consideration orders for which we may sometimes have to make a new piece based on your order. However, if your order is already available in the desired size, we dispatch it within 2 to 3 working days from the date of successful placement of your order.

The standard dispatch timeline for Ready to Ship products is 5 working days for both Domestic and International orders. In case of an International order consisting of made-to-order products as well as ready-to-ship products, the order will be dispatched in a single shipment, and the dispatch timeline of the made-to-order product will be applicable.

Once the order is dispatched, it normally takes 1 to 4 business days depending on the pin code for delivery within India and 2 to 4 business days for deliveries outside India. Unforeseen circumstances on our or the logistics provider’s end may sometimes cause delays; however, please be assured that our customer service team will work closely with the logistics provider to get your orders delivered at the earliest. Customs and Import Duties Information on International Shipments:

Your order may be subject to import duties that are levied once the package reaches the destination country. An additional charge towards import, customs, and taxes may be levied by the customs authorities, and the same shall be borne by you. Please note that Kathaashilpi Jewellery and Accessories has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be in actual. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, and we recommend contacting the local customs office or their website for further information. Additionally, when ordering from www.kathaashilpi.com, you are considered the importer on record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are ordering the goods.

Return and Exchange Policy

We want you to love what you ordered, but if something isn’t right, let us know. We’ll give you an exchange on that piece in another color, a different size, or an entirely new style. In the unlikely event that any merchandise you have ordered from us is not received in good condition, is damaged or defective, or if merchandise delivered is different from what you had ordered, you may return the merchandise unused, in the same condition as you received it, in its original packaging with original tags, for an exchange, within 14 days from the date on which these goods are delivered. Once received, the customer care team will see if all conditions are met, and your credit/exchange would be processed.

Please note:

  1. Products once delivered cannot be returned. They can only be exchanged for another product.
  2. Items will be considered for store exchange only if they are unused and with all tags still attached. Returns that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer. Please inform our customer care department in the event that any goods/products are delivered without tags.
  3. Where provided, belts and any designer packaging such as muslin bags should be included with your return.
  4. All custom-made orders are non-returnable.
  5. No exchanges on discounted merchandise.
  6. We do not exchange cosmetics, masks, swimwear, and jewelry because of hygiene reasons.
  7. Returns/Refunds would only be accepted if goods received are defective, spurious, not as advertised/agreed upon, or delivered later than the stated delivery date.

Exchange in India

Step 1: To return an item, the customer must write to us at support@kathaashilpi.com. Within 14 days of delivery of the shipment.

Step 2: Please await a mail confirmation from our end for initiating the return. We will try to arrange for a pick-up through our courier partner. Just in case their service is unavailable at your address, we request you to self-ship it to our address.

Step 3: Pack your return securely, in the original package if possible, and courier the parcel back to us. Details will be shared in the email.

Exchange Outside India

Unfortunately, at this moment, we do not permit any returns or exchanges for international orders unless the product is damaged or defective, or if the merchandise delivered is different from what you had ordered.

In exceptional cases, if a customer can facilitate the return of goods in India at any of our flagship stores or an address from where a pickup can be arranged through our courier partner, we are happy to facilitate an exchange for the customer. Shipping charges may be applicable in case exchanged merchandise requires international shipping.

Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to love your purchase! If something isn’t quite right, please let us know. We offer exchanges for different colors, sizes, or styles. If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, you can return it unused and in its original packaging, with tags attached, within 14 days of delivery for an exchange. 

Important Notes:

  1. Dispatch Policy: Once items are dispatched, they cannot be returned for a refund, but can be exchanged.

  2. Condition of Items: To qualify for an exchange or store credit, items must be unused, unaltered, and have all tags attached. Damaged or soiled items may be returned to you. Please inform our customer care if you receive items without tags.

  3. Custom Orders: Custom-made items are non-returnable.

  4. Discounted Merchandise: Exchanges are not permitted on discounted items.

  5. Refunds: Returns/Refunds are only accepted for defective or incorrect items or those delivered later than promised. Refund processing may take 7-10 business days. 

Exchange in India

Step 1: To initiate a return, email us at support@kathaashilpi.com within 14 days of delivery.

Step 2: Wait for our confirmation email to begin the return process. We will arrange a pick-up through our courier partner. If they don’t service your area, please self-ship the item to us.

Step 3: Securely pack your return in the original packaging, if possible, and send it back to us. We’ll provide shipping details in our confirmation email.

Exchange Outside India

Currently, we do not accept returns or exchanges for international orders unless the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.

In exceptional cases, if you can return the item to an address in India where a pick-up can be arranged by our delivery partner within 14 days of delivery, we will facilitate an exchange. Please note that shipping charges may apply for international exchanges.
